Named Accountable GP for all Patients
As Detailed in our new contract with the Department of Health, we are required to allocate a named accountable GP to all patients. Actually, this has always been the case as when you register with us, you are allocated a "registered GP" who will normally be one of the GP Partners at the Practice. When a Patient registers with us, their registered GP will either be Dr Palmer or Dr Lovelock.
Your named GP is responsible for your overall care at the Practice.
If you wish to know which GP Partner is your named accountable GP, you are welcome to ask. If you have a preference as to which GP partner it is, then if you inform us, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such a request. Your named accountable GP will take lead responsibility
for your care.

NHS counter fraud have been notified of a text scam that has been sent to patients purporting to be from their GP practice. The text could easily be mistaken as a legitimate notification as the recipient’s mobile will show the text grouped with legitimate texts from their own GP practice.
The message advises them that they have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for Omicron and that they must order a test kit using a link within the text. The link then asks for a payment of £0.99 for postage.
This is a scam and should be ignored and deleted.
